About the area

If you want to see some good dramatic and musical stage presentations plan on attending one of the Buckhannon Community Theatre productions staged at various venues throughout the town. The casts are made up of local talent, both seasoned actors and novices. A few short miles South of town, the Buckhannon River does not resemble a tranquil stream; the class 3 and 4 rapids are just right for the avid paddler seeking some whitewater action.
