Don't Be Foolish

Have Your Insurance Card

By Alan Dixler

While I was waiting to talk to the prosecutor on behalf of a client with a very serious matter, I was taken with just how many motorists had received tickets for failing to produce an insurance card when requested by a police officer. Motorist after motorist was called before the Court.  Each had their card with them in Court.  Once it was shown that the card was proper, the ticket was dismissed. BUT the motorist had to pay Court costs.

So please, don't be foolish.  Always keep your insurance card ready to hand in the glove glove box. Make sure it is current.  Don't put yourself in the position of having to pay Court costs.  You have better ways to spend your money.
