You mught want to call this court by its official name; the Pipestone County District Court. My, My ,my the roads run all over Pipestone from US 75 to SR's 23 and 30.

It is at the site of the Pipestone National Monument where for centuries American Indians quarried the pipestone which they carved into pipes used for prayer. This practice still is continued today although quarries are allocated by permit issued by the Monument. During the summer, local American Indians, at the Upper Midwest Indian Cultural Center inside the visitor center, still carve pipestone. The city of Pipestone is known to some as the home of the peacepipe. For entertainment visit the Performing Arts center where there are concerts including classical and country folk music as well as and community theater with almost 50 performances over the season
