ABOUT THE AREA
Crockett’s Tavern is a restored and relocated historic building. Davy Crockett’s parents had lived in this building and they ran a tavern here for several years. Until Davy went off to Washington he lived in this tavern. Today it is a museum and an interesting historic building to visit with several of its things retained.
