Aitkin County District Court is the official name for the Aitkin County Court. Aitkin county is large and US Hway 169 and SR’s 18, 47, 65,200, 210 and 232 run for long distances in the county.

ABOUT THE AREA

Aitkin lies below the Mississippi river and to the South there are three large lakes; Hammal lake, Hanging Kettle lake and Ripple lake. Plenty of opportunities for boating and fishing. Aitkin Municipal Airport-Steve Kurtz Field, a good sized airport jointly owned by the county and the city, has runways approximately 3400 feet and 4000 feet in length.
