Cass County Court is officially known as the Cass County District Court. The major roads running through Cass county are US 2 and SR’s 34, 200 and 371.

The city of Walker lies on Walker Bay which is part of Leech lake and of a series of bays and lakes in the immediate area. This city of just over 1000 people once served as the lumbering, trading, and sawmill center for settlers and loggers in and around the area. Now Leech Lake is a water recreation spot where fishermen can catch anything from Eelpout to Muskies. Its over 600 miles of shoreline provide many opportunities for water-skiing, swimming, picnicking or sunbathing. Boat launching facilities and docks are available at different locations along the lake.Bicyclists will love the paved Paul Bunyan Trail goes right thru town and meets with the Heartland Trail.
