ABOUT THE AREA
The Municipal House on 930 River Road is a one stop-shop for the court, plus police, fire and other departments. The K-12 school district is one of the best in the area. New Milford is home to the Transfiguration Academy, a school that implements a new model in Catholic School Education. There is also a Gardening Club that is a volunteer group that comes together every weekend to plant trees and develop home grounds. They believe in furthering the beautification of community.
