This city is served by only two major roads; SR 26 and SR 117.

South Paris is a principal village of the city of Paris. Its population of about 2300, living in an area around 4 square miles in size, is probably not much different than when the city started in the early 19th century with mills powered by the waters of the Little Androscoggin River . The joining of the Norway Branch Railway with the main line of the Grand Trunk railway in South Paris probably contributed to expansion and diversity in the number of factories.
