If you want to get through Auburn quickly drive on State Roads 14, 15, 147 or 267. SR 147 to the South merges with SR 267 and provides access to US 29 and IS 85.<br>We wonder if they ever gave Bo Jackson a speeding ticket for running too fast on the football field. Probably not.

There is a great little park smack in the middle of town called Felton Little park. The facilities here are a playground, picnic tables and three baseball fields. The largest park in Auburn is Kiesel Park with a pavilion, a garden, a pond, and over 2 miles of walking trail. In the middle of this park you will find the Nunn-Winston house which is an example of antebellum Greek Revival architecture of the1850s. Auburn University, which is located here, is a member of the Southeastern Conference in athletics and fields national powers in every sport. The presence of the University makes Auburn quite different from a typical small city creating a significant sense of community pride. Auburn University’s College of Engineering has been offering courses since th late 19th century. The college encompasses seven centers for engineering excellence and its facilties include a subsonic wind tunnel and two supersonic wind tunnels.
