You can have a pleasant drive through Falkville on US 31 or really travel on IS 65 to the East; but mind your speed.
ABOUT THE AREA
The city was named after one of its early merchants. With just over 1200 people living here in less than 3.7 square miles it's not crowded here and a pleasant plce to live. The Falkville Invitational Track and Field Meet each year brings together high school athletes from the area. The Falkville High scool graduation recently had an unusual event as part of their ceremonies. It included the graduation of a 95-year-old Falkville woman.
