The borough of South Hackensack is home to nearly 2250 people. It is the only municipality in the state of New Jersey that has non-contiguous chunks of land. 3 non-contiguous stretches together constitute the borough. Pulaski park in South Hackensack is a popular recreation area and is just a few feet away from the Municipal Court. The park has fields for playing football, baseball, soccer and trails for walking, cycling or jogging.
