ABOUT THE AREA

This city of under 250 residents can really enjoy their location lying along the Conecuh river. The Gantt reservoir impounds the Conecuh River, and is approximately 2,700 acres in size with 21 miles of shoreline. This site offers the opportunity for boating, swimming and skiing as well as fishing. Largemouth bass, redear sunfish, bluegill and crappie are among the most common fish caught here.
