Motorists here have SR 5, SR 13 and SR 195 for their use.

Around 1911 a large building was erected in downtown Haleyville. At the beginning of World War I, this building was purchased by a family named Feldman and used by them to house their department store on its first floor. In the 1990's the building was purchased for use as a private social hall, subsequently restored to the old Feldman's Department store and placed on the National Register of Historic Places. City Lake in Haleyville offers some beautiful scenery and is open year around for fishing, hiking trails and views of its waterfalls.
