Court is held on the first floor of Jasper City Hall every Thursday beginning at 1.30. SR 5, SR 69, SR 118, SR 124, SR 269 and US 78/IS 22 provide Jasper residents with access to almost anywhere in Alabama.

Nearby Lewis Smith Lake contains over 70 species of fish in more than 21,000 acres of lake. The fish you are most likely to find here are spotted bass, large mouth bass, crappie and blue gill. Gulf coast striped bass and Florida large mouth bass which have been stocked in Smith Lake since 1980. The most excitement surrounding the lake each year is the Fishing tournaments hosted by Jasper which brings the country's most avid Bass anglers and their families to the community. Jasper has several parks to cater to the outdoor recreational needs of its citizens. The largest is Memorial Park which also is Jasper's oldest park with facilities such as pavilions, a playground, softball and T-ball fields, a mile-long outdoor walking track, a pond, the natatorium and outdoor swimming pools, Swann Gym and a soccer field. The Natatorium consists of an indoor pool and an outdoor pool.
