ABOUT THE AREA
Wabash College is an all male liberal arts college in Crawfordsville. The city is known as "The Athens of Indiana" for its many famous writers. The General Lew Wallace Study and Museum is here. Lew Wallace wrote Ben Hur here. It took him several years and he wrote and studied while sitting under a beech tree!
