ABOUT THE AREA
The borough of Teterboro is the smallest municipality in the State of New Jersey with just 18 residents in the 2000 census living in 7 houses. Teterboro is possibly most known for the Teterboro airport which occupies about 90% of the area.The only 2 residential streets in the borough are Huyler Street and Vincent place, and since the residents of Vincent Place weren't counted in the 2000 census, the correct population of the borough might be about 60 or so. The boro site claims 45 residents. There have been attempts in the past to merge Teterboro with surrounding boroughs, but residents and municipal officials have resisted the merger time and again.
