The borough of Waldwick which was once a farmland is now a prosperous and a self-sustaining town. The borough has nearly 9700 residents and a few schools, including the 'The Forum School', which is a private and non-profit school for developmentally atypical children. It offers classes for children through 16 years of age. They keep the student-teacher ratio low to make sure that the children get enough attention and care. The school offers a therapeutic and a kind environment for these children to learn and grow. Waldwick is north of Ho-Ho-Kus, but residents do not turn up their noses at their nominally challenged neighbor.
