ABOUT THE AREA
This borough nestled in southern-western corner of Bergen county, is home to nearly 11500 people. The borough is about half Polish, making it one of the top 50 places in the country to have such a high population of Polish descendants. Once upon a time, almost all of Wallington was hilly terrain and farmlands, but today Wallington houses many small business and some large industries. It has metamorphosed from being a sleepy little town to the present day prosperous suburban borough, with several parks. The Nelkin County Park still shows traces of the Shaueehank Hill which reminds us of what this place must have looked like centuries ago. An outstanding Historical Society which is a must-see.
