The Municipal Court is located at the intersection of Washington Street and Newark Street.

Hoboken present-day has about 39,000 folks in a 2 square mile area, making it one of the most densely populated cities in NJ. Known as a 'come-back' town because of it's rise to fame after a period of dormancy and oblivion. Like all other neighboring places, this city has a rich local history and an illustrious past. Hoboken has people from various ethnic groups making this city very diverse in character. While the city has it's share of crime, most residents consider it a pretty safe place to live. Washington Street has the Municipal court, shopping centers and other thoroughfare. The city has gate-sales, which are the equivalent of garage-sales in other cities. Some remember Hoboken best as part of a rant from Bugs Bunny. City is situated across the water from Manhattan and between the Lincoln Tunnel and the Holland Tunnel.

Suffers from more criminal cases than anyone would like, but not too bad. Some traffic and dui as well.
