ABOUT THE AREA
Otsego County has over 60,000 residents and a big summer influx adds quite a few others. The county is best known for Cooperstown, home both to the Hall of Fame for the great American pastime (baseball of course), and historically to James Fenimore Cooper. The county is arguably in the center of New York State, or at least close to it. This means it's not really near anywhere, unless Binghamton counts. Albany and Syracuse are a bit further, and
