ABOUT THE AREA
The town celebrates is historic Fly Creek (not named for pesky insects). It has a a lot of history as an industrial source of power and tool for moving logs. Over the last few years a crisis of property taxes combined with the decrease in school equalization rates has caused great concern in this little town.
