Building number of court is approximate. Deer Creek Drive and Broad Street which cross near the center of Leland both lead to US 82/US 278.

The Highway 61 Blues Museum in this town has exhibits showing the history of the the Delta Blues. The displays include memorabilia from such blues greats as Little Milton, B.B. King, James “Son” Thomas, Bougaloo Ames, Eddie Cusic and others many of whom lived within a 100 mile radius of Leland. An annual Highway 61 Blues Festival is held in June. The Washington County Tourist Center in Leland is home to an exhibit honoring the creator of the muppets; native son Jim Henson. Included in the exhibit are a tableau honoring Kermit the Frog's birth on Deer Creek, photographs from the Henson Family Album, a video center with many of Jim Henson's early works and a gift shop.
