ABOUT THE AREA
The United Campgrounds is located on the Las Animas River. The train tracks also run from the Campgrounds. While staying here it is very interesting to watch the oldest iron horse running around lugging tourists. It is also interesting to watch the antics of the river and its people…the tourists.
