Jackson Circuit Court is the 1st District Circuit Court of Hinds County and is part of the Seventh District Circuit system of Mississippi.

The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science has developed large biological collections and scientific databases which are presented in the public exhibits and educational classes provided by the museum.
