ABOUT THE AREA
Owensboro is the third largest city of Kentucky nestled on the banks of Ohio River. Because of the convenient location most of the festivals are celebrated on the banks of the city. Nearly 20 annual festivals are celebrated here. Barbeque to Bluegrass festivals are held in Bluegrass Music Museum. Other places of interest are Western Kentucky Botanical Garden Owensboro Museum of Fine Art and Owensboro Museum of Science and History.
