Forest Justice Court is the Justice Court of Scott County.

A great entertainment venue in this town is the Scott County/Forest Coliseum. The arena in this facility is large enough to host events such as horse shows, monster trucks, arenacross, circus, rodeos, concerts, trade shows and k-9 shows.The residents of Forest are lucky to have Bienville National Forest just to the South of them. This National Forest land of over 80,000 acres is available to the public with public hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. Shockaloe Riding Trail, which is inside the park, is over 25 miles long is suitable for hiking and horseback riding with hitching areas, water, comfort stations, camping, picnic tables and grills. The horseback riding public from everywhere come to use this trail.
