Warren County is largely rural with vast farmlands and open spaces and a rich history. Most towns in this County were inhabited by Native Indians in 1600s and Europeans in late 1700s which is evident from the names of the towns and boroughs in this County, most of which are direct derivations from the Native Indian language. Most towns are thinly populated. The County towns have the finest schools and state of-the-art hospitals and libraries. Warren County Community College is located in this County. The County is well-connected to the outside world by I-78 and I-80. US Routes 22 and 26 and several County Routes criss-cross this County. The only train stop of NJ Transit in Warren County is at Hackettstown. Warren County residents enjoy the bucolic, safe and laid-back atmosphere that this County offers.
