Paulding Circuit Court is the Thirteenth District Circuit Court of Jasper County's 1st Judicial District in the court system of Mississippi.
ABOUT THE AREA
Paulding was originally settled in the early 1880's and was a thriving and important center prior to the Civil War. Reconstruction after the Civil war was the beginning of the end for the city. When the county would not pay for and the citizens could not afford to contribute to the construction of a railroad through Paulding, it moved elsewhere. The city never really recovered.
