Harding Highway, Old Tavern Road, Pole Tavern-Elmer Road and Bridgeton Pike intersect at the heart of the the Upper Pittsgrove township. The Pole Tavern Circle near this intersection proudly displays the historic 800-pound cannon built in early 1800s. It has been in the Pole Tavern circle since 1913. Visitors to the Municipal Court can get a breath of fresh air in the East Lake habitat across the street from the Court.
