McPherson District Court is the Ninth District Court of McPherson County in the judicial district court system of Kansas.

McPherson College is a four college which offers Bachelor'r degrees in such fields as Art, Business, History and Politics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and the Performing Arts. Uniquely this school offers the only accredited four year degree in automotive restoration in the United States and is recognized throughout the world for teaching authentic auto restoration. If you visit the McPherson Museum, housed in the in the historic Vaniman Mansion, you will get a rare glimpse into the elegance of the 1920's. This home still has the original original imported wall paper, hand-crocheted lace-edged curtains and vintage furniture. Thewre are other exhibits of American Indian pottery, antiques, tools and dolls. Model railroad fans will get a kick out the model trains on the N and HO scale layouts.
