The two major roads accessible to this city form the Southern and Eastern borders of this city. SR 4 is the Southern edge of most of the city and US 81 lies along the Eastern edge.

A group of Swedish immigrants from the Värmland province of Sweden settled Lindsborg in the late 1860's. Much of the Swedish ancestry and culture are preserved. Many in Lindsborg have adopted the Dala horse, a bluntly rounded, tail-free horse which is a symbol of Swedish folk craft. When you are here look for the traditional Dala horses on front porches, on coffee mugs and even on the side of police cruisers. Like the cows of Chicago and the horses of Saratoga, New York; Lindsborg has its Herd of Wild Dala Horses, creatively painted Wild Dala horses which roam freely throughout thje city.
