Court sessions are held in City Hall. US 56 crosses North Center street in the middle of town.

The Gardner Aquatic Center is a great place to spend a hot afternoon. The pool features a zero depth entry. In addition there are active in-water play area, lazy river, multiple water slides, floatable walk, climbing nets, spray grounds, and a tot pool at the facility. For other otdoor recreation, the city has several parks catering to a variety of needs. Brookside Park features playground equipment and shelters and picnic areas with barbecue grills. Celebration Park and Sports Complex has baseball fields, soccer fields, a ten acre lake, concession stands, restrooms, playground equipment, walking/jogging trails, shelters and picnic areas, with barbecue grills. Cornerstone Park has the town memorials, shelters, playground equipment, walking and jogging trails and picnic areas and like the other town parks barbecue grills.
