The Roeland Park Aquatic Center and the The Roeland Park Sports Dome, located just east of the Roeland Park Community Center, provides a variety of recreation opportunities for adults and youth. The sports dome is a 24,000 square foot, air-supported dome in which there is space equipped for basketball, volleyball and soccer. The facilty is is the home to severalrecreational basketball leagues and volleyball leagues. The aquatic center has a 50-meter inverted “C”-shaped pool with a 25-yard by-25-meter competitive area, a diving well for one- and three-meter boards and a inflatable slide; four 50-meter lap swimming lanes, and a zero-depth entry area. An air supported dome is used to cover the main pool from September through May allowing the facility to be used year round.
