El Dorado has some great roads to get around the city and get in and out as well; IS 35 at the Northwest corner, US 454, US 77 and SR 254.

Sixteen sculptures, donated by residents, populate the downtown area and at Sculpture Alley there is the 10 by 25 foot Flint Hills Mural. These complement the artistic scene and culture which is richly presented in the Coutts Memorial Museum of Art, the Erman B. White Gallery and the many private galleries thoughout the city. Additional evidence of this culture can be seen in the the painted guitars hanging on the exposed brick walls and the original artwork in the Circle Gallery of the Iron Horse Concert Hall. This concert hall presents a program of diverse musicians playing live folk, blues, country and Celtic music from October to May. This city is also the home of Butler Community College which offers courses in many subjects among which are Computer and Information Sciences, Criminal Justice and Police Science, Drafting and Design Technology and Forestry.
