ABOUT THE AREA
Lake Success is located across the Queens County border of Nassau County in the Town of Hempstead and was temporary home to the United Nations from 1946-1951 while the UN Building in NYC was under construction. It is not clear whether this village has any purpose other than having a golf course, which shares the website with village. Never seen that before.
