US 400 runs through the Northern part of town and you reach it by driving North on anyone of several streets in town.
ABOUT THE AREA
The city was established shortly before the 20th century and incorporated a few short years into the century. It was named for a developer and vice-president and general manager of the Santa Fe Railroad. Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard contains some of the most rarest and endangered species in the world. Although it has been run privately for years, it has recently gone public. There are interactive exhibits at the park and the kids can thrill to a camel ride.
