Lakin District Court is the Twenty-Fifth District Court of Kearny County in the judicial district court system of Kansas.
ABOUT THE AREA
Indian Mound, which lies Southwest of Lakin, was probably used as a lookout point by Indians and traders. Unfortunately it's not high as it used to be when a surveying expedition made official note of it in the 1820's; people searching for relics have hastened its erosion. However it's stilll possible to get a great view from this mound.
