For points East or West of Norwich take SR 42 which crosses Robbins road.

The City of Norwich which was in the area of the Osage Indian Trust Lands was owned by two men who sold town lots around 1885 to pioneers who came to the area on foot, horseback and in wagons and carriages. Soon surrounding farms and ranches were established with which the beauty of the location and the arrival of the Denver, Memphis & Atlantic Railroad insured that the site selected was a good place for a town. The late 1880's saw the arrival of entrepeneurs who erected buildings and opened businesses in the town. There is now a city park, in town, with a ball diamond, swimming pool and tennis courts which is also the site of many community activities..
