ABOUT THE AREA
This populous city of 80,000 people is nestled in the north-west portion of Camden County. Camden City has time and again been ranked as one of the most dangerous places to live in USA because of it's high crime-rate. Attractions in the city include Adventure Aquarium which is at walking distance from the Courthouse, the historic Walt Whitman House built in late 1800s and the NJ Battleship museum amongst other places. Camden County Historical Society is located in Camden City too. I-676 and NJ Transit's Walter Rand Transportation Center are the most common means of transportation. Camden City also houses Camden Couty College, Rutgers University and Rowan University.
