That road that seems to go everywhere, US 40, runs through Valley Grove as well and IS 70 is located to the South.
ABOUT THE AREA
Valley Grove is another one of the towns which grew up around taverns established along the National road proposed by George Washington. Of course it could have grown very much; its population is only about 378 and they reside in an area of approximately 1/2 square mile. Although the median per capita income is not good, their median household income is reasonable good considering the relatively low cost of housing in the area.
