ABOUT THE AREA
Glasgow was incorporated around 1920 and took its name from the name of a glass factory operating in the town. Its present population is short of 1000. Glasgow was recently the home, until her death, of the first woman president of the Amusement and Music Operators Association who founded the founded Belle Amusement Company in the 1940's
