ABOUT THE AREA
Everytown should have a festival; it's something to do in the Summer and this town has a good one held at Bee Run Recreational Area at Sutton Lake each July. It's called the Mountain Lakes Festival. Entertainment is provided by the Chippewa Lake Water Ski Show team, Wood Chopper show and the
Car show. For competitions there's "That Dam Race" 5K Run and Walk over the Sutton dam and back,
the Country Roads Cook-off, Kids Carp Fishing Tourney at Sutton Lake Marina and "Anything That Floats" contest. Not least of all is the Battle of the Bands at the Mountain Lakes Amphitheater and to top it off a parade.
