US 50 is just about the whole town of Capon Bridge.

The Capon Bridge Founder's Day festival is an annual two day event held at the end of September. Among the main happenings at this festival are the live music and entertainment, the Civil War living history and encampment, the history presentations and demonstrations, the animal park and car show. The new Capon Bridge Museum located just to the west of the Capon Bridge Library is housed in the renovation of old Dr. Gardner dentist office. there are displays of various aspects of the history of the Cacapon Valley. The exhibits include many items representing the history of the area. Among the displays are the original surveyor's desk of Samuel Cooper and the iron barred window from the old Capon Bridge Post Office. Photographic displays include photographs about life in the valley and a display of recent black & white photographs of places and buildings as we see them today.
