ABOUT THE AREA
Among the buildings dedicated to the arts in Martinsburg two stand out. The Apollo Civic Theatre was built around 1913 and now present six main stage productions a year. In addition the theater is host to community events during the year including the annual Haunted Theatre and Community Talent Extravaganza. The Old Federal Building has been renovated to serve as the Arts Centre. The center presents many exhibits and events during the year, including the annual West Virginia Wine and Arts festival.
