ABOUT THE AREA
The city of Ranson is over 100 years old. The Convention and Visitors bureau of Ranson spnsors a series of free concerts each Summer which take place on the first Friday of the month, from May through October. If you want another festival to attend, and they are lots of fun, there's one in this city, the annual Ranson festival in June. There is also a new guy in town, the annual Ranson Car and Motorcycle show where a "Best in Show" and category prizes are awarded for the different categories.
