Two nice roads to use in Kirksville are BR US 63 and SR 11 which meet in the center of the city and running along the Eastern edge is US 63. SR 6 and SR P come in from the North.
ABOUT THE AREA
The Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department sponsors an annual Fall Broadway in the Park dinner theater performance in September at the Jackson Stables. The department also sponsors the Movie in the Park series Saturdays throughout the Summer at the Rotary Park amphitheater. The cabins at Thousand Hills State Park are not your run of the mill rundown structures; rather they are a group of modern duplex units. The park also has a marina, dining lodge and beach. Thunder Ridge MX Park is a natural terrain track just a couple of miles East of Kirksville where thrilling and exciting motorcycle and ATV races are the norm.
