ABOUT THE AREA
The city is named for the lake that was created in the late 1930's. It was incorporated in the late 1950's and is a private lake community and the city does have a minimum lot size upon which a home many be constructed. You know that if you live here you will be able to enjoy fishing, swimming and sailing. The city has seven parks and the park at the community center which together provide facilities for tennis, basketball, playground equipment, sand volleyball, picnicking, walking and barbecuing.
