SR 291 and SR H meet each other in Liberty with SR 291 going on to meet IS 35 and US 69 running together in the Western part of town.

William Jewell college is a four year school located in Liberty can earn a Bachelor's degree in the Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Professions and Applied Sciences such as Business, Professions and Applied Sciences such Business, Education or Nursing;dual degress in Engineering and Medicine or Pre-Professional studies such as pre-medicine, pre-Law, pre-Dentistry or pre-Veterinary Medicine. Liberty has a large number of parks and a couple of tennis courts in addition to a sports complex. The Fountain Bluff sports complex has 2 Picnic Shelters has playgrounds, soccer fields, a baseball field, softball / multi-Use fields and 2 ¼ mile long trail and 8 ponds. The private nonprofit nature Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary lies just to the East of Liberty and covers about 100 acres of land. There are about 4 miles of trails here with most of the trails less than a mile in length. along which you are likely to spot wildlife and diverse plant life.
