It is believed that this township of 15,000 people got it\'s name from a Native Indian word meaning \'sweet water\' because of the abundance of sweet maple trees in the region. Just a few miles away from major cities, Cinnaminson is a great place to work and live. Most neighborhoods are posh. The township boasts of 8 well-maintained parks within an area of 8 square miles. 4-5 of these are walking distance from the Courthouse. Cinnaminson Shopping Center and Riverton Country Club are within walking distance from the Courthouse too. Cinnaminson Routes 73 & 90, US Rt 130 and County Rt 543 traverse the township.

Most cases are traffic violations on US Rt 130. Maybe some shoplifting incidents, but hopefully few golf rage matters.
