ABOUT THE AREA
Lake St. Louis has some outstanding parks. Boulevard Park has a large pavilion with dusk to dawn lighting and electrical outlets, picnic facilities, a large barbeque pit and ponds and fountains. For outdoor recreation there is an amphitheater, softball field, soccer field, walking paths, volleyball net and a toddler and adolescent playground. This park is the scene of the Summertime Friday night Movie in the Park series. Founders Park Sports Complex is equipped with several baseball/softball diamonds,
several soccer fields, a pavilion with a concession stand, basketball court, playground, picnic facilities and walking paths. Flags of all branches of the service and pedestals with plaques which mention conflicts past to present are located in Veterans Memorial park in the Civic Center complex. Hawk Ridge park has the highly unusual "All Inclusive" Zachary's Playground Spray Pad, two pavilions and walking trail.
